The Inaugural Annual Report of the DC Maternal Mortality Review Commission (2019-2020) has been released. The mission of this report is to identify the root causes of maternal mortality in DC and write actionable recommendations to address them. Our TL1 scholar, Dr. Christina Marea is a co-chair of the Maternal Mortality Review Committee and presented this report to the Honorable Muriel Bowser, Mayor, District of Columbia.
