Colleen Grablick from the DCist wrote an article entitled Black People Accounted For 90% of Pregnancy-Related Deaths in D.C., Study Finds. This article showcases the work Dr. Christina Marea has done with her study conducted by the Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC). Her work reviewed all pregnancy-associated deaths in D.C between 2014 and 2018.
