Alumni, Dr. Christina Marea's Research on FGM/C Care Measurement has been published and showcased on the ACOG Podcast

We are thrilled to announce that Christina X. Marea, PhD, MA, MSN, FACNM, has achieved two significant accomplishments in her field of research.

Her article, "Advancing the measurement of knowledge, attitudes and practices of health workers who care for women and girls who have undergone female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C): A qualitative exploration of expert opinion," has been published.

Christina's article is a valuable contribution to the field of healthcare, specifically in women's health, where it explores expert opinions on the measurement of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of health workers caring for women and girls who have undergone FGM/C. This research can significantly improve the care of those who have undergone FGM/C and reduce its prevalence.
