Dr. Stephen Wright is the American winner of the 2016 Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery (CANTAB) Research Grant.
The Cambridge Cognition CANTAB Research Grant is open to anyone conducting research in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, and related subjects where cognitive function is being measured as part of a study. The grant fund is intended to support with the costs of conducting a research study or costs associated with presenting their research at an event. Congratulations, Stephen!

Monica Javidnia is an awardee for a site visit to the U.S. Department of Agriculture facility
Monica Javidnia is an awardee for a site visit​ through the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Careers in Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Site Visits program. The Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Executive Committee chooses 2 to 3 applications for a one day site visits to either a Janssen or U.S. Department of Agriculture facility that will enable the awardee to explore diverse post-doctoral and early career scientist opportunities. Congratulations, Monica!

Sandeep Nadella and Monica Javidnia win awards for their performance in the Georgetown University Department of Medicine Research Day

TBS Postdoctoral Scholar Sandeep Nadella, MD won first place in the Basic Science Research Postdoctoral Fellow category and Monica Javidnia, MS received runner up for her presentation in the Basic Science Student category. Sandeep Nadella will be giving a talk on his work in the Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on Thursday May 12 in Gorman auditorium at 8 am.

Monica Javidnia received a travel award for the Alzheimer's Association to present at their annual international conference. She will be presenting a poster on entitled Pazopanib Is a Potential Therapeutic for Tauopathies on July 27th, 2016 in Toronto, Canada.
