The first award was from the March of Dimes; this travel scholarship help him attend the 57th McKusick Short Course on Human & Mammalian Genetics at Jackson Labs. The second award was from the American Pancreatic Association. They selected Sandeep from over 100 applicants to receive their Young Investigator Travel Award. Congratulations Sandeep!

Monica Javidnia is an awardee for a site visit​ through the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Careers in Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Site Visits program. The Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Executive Committee chooses 2 to 3 applications for a one day site visits to either a Janssen or U.S. Department of Agriculture facility that will enable the awardee to explore diverse post-doctoral and early career scientist opportunities.
