Amrita Pai was selected to recieve a Gridley McKim-Smith Women’s Health Fellowship Award
Congratulations, to Amrita Pai for being selected to receive a Gridley McKim-Smith Women’s Health Fellowship Award. Fellowship Awards recognize and support MD/PhD candidates or graduates pursuing fellowship or specialty training and working on research in women’s health. This award goes directly to the individual awardee to acknowledge and support her/his academic, training and research success and pursuits.

Dr. Sandeep Nadella has received two travel awards
The first award was from the March of Dimes; this travel scholarship help him attend the 57th McKusick Short Course on Human & Mammalian Genetics at Jackson Labs. The second award was from the American Pancreatic Association. They selected Sandeep from over 100 applicants to receive their Young Investigator Travel Award. Congratulations Sandeep!

Dr. Stephen Wright is the American winner of the 2016 Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery (CANTAB) Research Grant.
The Cambridge Cognition CANTAB Research Grant is open to anyone conducting research in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, and related subjects where cognitive function is being measured as part of a study. The grant fund supports the costs of conducting research study or costs associated with presenting their research at an event. Congratulations, Stephen!

Monica Javidnia has been selected as a Georgetown-MedStar CERSI Scholar for the 2016-2017 program year. The Georgetown University Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI) is an award given to her in recognition of her demonstrated interest in regulatory science.

Monica Javidnia is an awardee for a site visit to the U.S. Department of Agriculture facility
Monica Javidnia is an awardee for a site visit​ through the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Careers in Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Site Visits program. The Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Executive Committee chooses 2 to 3 applications for a one day site visits to either a Janssen or U.S. Department of Agriculture facility that will enable the awardee to explore diverse post-doctoral and early career scientist opportunities. Congratulations, Monica!
