The Dr. Mark Smulson and Dr. Zofia Zukowska Awards for Excellence in Thesis Research were inaugurated in 2013. Each year they recognize the outstanding research contributions of two Ph.D. students from Georgetown University Medical Center’s (GUMC) Biomedical Graduate Education programs.
